Tribute to his legacy
In New York City, the Empire State Building will be illuminated in red and white and will feature a wreath spinning along its mast in honour of Biggie Smalls.
Similarly, the Barclays Centre in Brooklyn, the rapper's home borough, will also commemorate the artist's birthday by mounting some of his most prolific records above the stadium's entrance.
