About Event Foodies, Friends and Families too — Maharashtrian Food is calling you! On Saturday, 4 July 2026, Marathi Mitra Berlin e.V. brings you Zingaat Zest 2026, an open-air food festival celebrating the cuisine inspired by or popular in Maharashtra — cooked by home chefs and Indian businesses based right here in Berlin. Feast on Konkani coastal classics, Kolhapuri spice, Mumbai-Pune street snacks and regional specialities from Vidarbha and Khandesh, alongside a few modern fusion plates. Maybe your first vada pav on a (hopefully) sunny Berlin afternoon. Maybe a plate of modak, or a mango mastani to round it off. What to Expect: A line-up of home chefs and Indian businesses serving authentic regional and fusion food from Maharashtra Vegetarian and non-vegetarian options at affordable price points Live DJ spinning Bollywood and Marathi hits through the afternoon A relaxed open-air setting with plenty of space to sit, eat and meet friends Good to know: This is an outdoor event. Berlin weather has a sense of humour, so dress accordingly. Bring a hat for sunshine and a light jacket just in case. Each ticket gives you entry to the festival. Food and drinks are paid separately at each stall (cash or digital; no tokens this year). A limited number of tickets are available at each tier. Once True Foodie is sold out, the price moves to Planned Foodie, and then to Impromptu Foodie. Book early to grab the lowest price. We recommend you bring your own water. Contact: [email protected] Terms & Conditions Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable, unless the event is cancelled by the organizer. Ticket pricing is tiered. A limited number of tickets are available at each price point (€2, €3 and €4). Once a tier is sold out, the next price band applies automatically. Children under 12 enter free when accompanied by an adult with a valid ticket. Entry is permitted only with a valid ticket. Duplicate, tampered or screenshot-shared tickets will not be accepted. Food and beverages are paid separately at each stall (cash or digital payment). Outside food or beverages are not allowed inside the venue. Alcoholic drinks are strictly prohibited. Re-entry may not be permitted once you exit the event premises. The organizers are not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged personal belongings. The event schedule and line-up are subject to change without prior notice. This is an outdoor event. In case of cancellation or significant disruption due to weather, regulatory restrictions or other circumstances beyond the organizers’ control, Marathi Mitra Berlin e.V. cannot be held liable, and ticket fees may be non-refundable. By entering the venue, you consent to being photographed or filmed for use in promotional material by Marathi Mitra Berlin e.V. on its website and social media. The organizers reserve the right of admission and may remove any person behaving inappropriately or causing a disturbance. Parents and guardians are responsible for the safety and behaviour of children attending with them.
